Teach your children about Jesus with the beauty of Creation, the full moon, tonight!
Fun Quality Time activity for kids! If you go out now and notice where the full moon rises and you go out 10 days from now, on August 28, and notice where the last quarter moon rises you will notice an incredible phenomenon that you’re probably never going to see in your lifetime again.
A) Draw the first parts of a map, “here is our house”, “that’s north”, “that’s the landmark (tree or building) where the full moon rised on August 18 or 19”
B) stand at your front door and take a picture of the full moon. Repeat at from your back door. Note the angles and landmarks.
C) store your map and join the adventure again on August 28!

Jeremiah 31:35: “This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord Almighty is his name.”
These verses can help set a reflective and awe-inspiring tone as you share stories and marvel at the beauty of His Creation- the night sky. 🌙✨
