What is the Go Garden Project of Charlottetown Community Church?
The Go Garden Project is one of the church's core programs for food security and community support.
Key details about the project include:
- Food Security: It operates alongside programs like Bon Appétit & Street Samaritans to ensure food security and provide essential resources for individuals and families in need across Prince Edward Island.
- Support for the Vulnerable: It is widely used to assist and engage marginalized populations, including homeless individuals and those struggling to meet basic needs on the street.
- Community & Volunteer-Driven: The project relies on missionary workers, and volunteers who facilitate gardening activities to provide food, build connections, and offer situated learning opportunities to nurture community members.
Sharing your land with us empowers us to share locally grown pesticide-free food with you and others!
Email us the phrase, "Take My Grass" to apply for this service or click the sign up button.
It depends on how many volunteers we have available at the time. First come first serve. Currently, we can take only 1 to 3 spots depending on their sizes. Apply before we're full.
